The Best Studio Monitoring Headphones Under Rs. 1000/$16 | Sennheiser HD 180 Over-Ear Headphones Review

Sennheiser is a popular choice when it comes to picking headphones. Their products speak for themselves. This headphone, despite being a very old launch from Sennheiser beats even the latest of some other companies in this price range.

“The HD 180 is a trendy pair of headphones and can be an ideal choice for you.” as Sennheiser describes it. Though that statement isn’t true at all. These are some of the ugliest looking headphones and the “ideal choice for you” part really depends on your music taste.

I’m a bass lover and they definitely lack that, but I use them for editing my YouTube videos and their flat sound profile is great for sound mixing.

Comfort isn’t the best, you can use them for 3-4 hrs but any more than that you start feeling a little discomfort. Also, the memory foam covers the entire ear and blocks air completely and your ears start sweating after some use which will result in you removing your headphones often.

Its plastic body makes it fragile against drops and the lack of a non-braided and non-tangle cable comes into your notice as you start using them. The adhesive used for joining the left and right side of the cable is very weak and the cable starts separating very easily and the cable makes a big mess of itself.

Reviewer Rating: 3.5/5

These are a good pair of headphones and I would recommend them to anyone asking, for a price of Rs.1000 (USD 16). But it’s not something I would buy to listen to music on regularly.

Sound Mixing: Good, go for it.
Music: Depends.
What do you guys think? Would you buy it? Let me know in the comments down below.
